A 12-BORE 'POWELL 1864 PATENT' LIFT-UP TOPLEVER BAR-IN-WOOD HAMMERGUN BY PERRINS & SON,
serial no. 2263, 28in. sleeved steel to damascus barrels (blacked), 2 1/2in. chambers,
bored approx. full choke in both, single-bite snap-action incorporating Powell patent
no. 1163 of 1864, use number 360, carved teardrop fences, non-rebounding locks, 14in.
figured stock (cracked at hand) including steel buttplate, fore-end wood chipped and repaired
